A house made of sea shells – a country house decorated with sea shells by the sailor Kevin L. French, who lived from 1921 – 2003.

Located on the cliff, this cottage has a thatched roof and beautiful patterns made of sea shells of local character.

The work itself is a really fantastic project that requires extraordinary imagination, skill and patience. These intricate patterns on the walls of the house and adjacent buildings took over 30 years to complete.

A wide range of shells is arranged in beautiful patterns and a lighthouse.
In 2003, after the death of the owner and artist, there was a plaque commemorating this man.
