Railway Village – is the first miniature village in Ireland, which is located in the picturesque city of Clonakilty in the west of County Cork, where sixty years ago life was developed around the railwayman system.
Models of cities such as Clonakilty, Kinsale, Dunmanway, Ballinascarthy and Bandon built along the old railway line from 1930-1950.
Each one model is a replica of a city from the 1940s, during the tour you will be amazed by the miniature trains running around the village.
Railway Village is a great place to spend time and for small children it will be an unforgettable trip, especially after visiting the village when you can take a Train on the road to tour the streets of Clonakilty and compare some miniatures of buildings to their real counterparts.
While visiting the village, you can feel like in a fairy tale about the adventures of Gulliver.
