Ben Bulben – a spectacular mountain with a height of 526m, found in County Sligo as part of the Dartra table mountains and is known for its characteristic rock formation formed during the ice age when Ireland was covered with a glacier. On top of this there are unique species of fauna and flora.

William Butler Yeats- a poet, philosopher and Irish playwright wrote a poem about this mountain and told him to put his last three verses on his tombstone.

It is not recommended to go up the mountain due to dangerous slopes, although in the tourist information in Sligo you can get information about the circular and safe way to the top.
